About Heal Burma
Monday, 04 October 2010 18:19

Burmese people continue to endure the military government oppressions. The lack of sufficient health care, proper education, economic support, social aids, and justice have caused wounds in Burmese people's heart. These hardships are very real and the hope of better future is very grim for Burmese people. Their day to day survival became their closet enemy and then eventually forgot to plan for the future.

Over the last 2 decades under the regime oppressions, there were signs of hope and change, like 8888 or Saffron revolution. Unfortunately, the junta did whatever it took to annihilate anyone who doubts their absolute dictatorship. They were not afraid to show their evil face as long as they can remain in power. People were being kept in fear. This fear became too overwhelmed to bare that they distance themselves completely from the government and military and they conditioned themselves to fight for day to day survival from the hardships instead of confronting against it.

I share their feeling of fear, I share their feeling of despair, I share their feeling of hopelessness.

What I hope to achieve with this website is to heal the wound of Burmese people and to let them know that there is a better future ahead. No matter how difficult the current situation might be, there is light at the end of the tunnel. I will bring you news to spread the truth of current events, knowledge to survive this darkness and the information you need to plan ahead to fight for the genuine democracy and human rights.

I also want to take this opportunity to encourage you to open your eyes and ears. You are not alone under distress. We are with you and we will overcome this together.
